Dr. Suresh Gupta, MD Was born and brought up in New Delhi, India. After finishing his medical school, he moved to USA in 1981. Since then, he has finished a residency program in Occupational Medicine from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He worked as an Epidemic Intelligent Officer for the National Institute Department of Health and Human Services for four years.
In 1989, Dr. Gupta started his residency in anesthesiology at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and then proceeded to finish his residency in it and fellowship in Pain Management from the University of Cincinnati. He was also trained at Children�s Hospital, Cincinnati. Dr. Gupta has extensive experience in taking care of children with cancer & chronic pain.
He speaks as a leader in Chronic Pain Management for many pharmaceutical companies, throughout the nation. He is board eligible in anesthesia and pain management. He has been performing procedures like Baclofen pump in children & adults for spasticity from stroke and multiple sclerosis, morphine pump, spinal cord stimulators, venteloplasty/Kyphoplasty and more recently percutaneous diskectomy using HydroCision. He has travelled extensively throughout the world and enjoys playing tennis, biking & ball room dancing.
